today choir had the last and final rehearsal. i can't believe the concert's this thursday! ohh and our new chior tee came in today. yay. jump for joy! urrgh the st. gabriel's secondary song they will present keeps running through my head. ugh ugh ugh. i made so many friends in such a short time i can't believe it! i'm talking to an old classmate on MSN now, don't know if you remember her, ex-chij oln[ders]. CHAN YUN XIN, remember her? she just added me on MSN. so anyway, back to today. there was transport to bring the choir to and from singapore conference hall, where the three schools[st. gabs, hihs, presbyterian high] will be performing. then so going alto had one small bus to themselves, sopranos shared with the boys. one big bus. but whatever, going back the altos had one big bus to share with the boys and the sopranos took another[smaller, though] bus. ohh and the bus that brought the sopranos and the boys to singapore conference hall had JURONG BIRD PARK imprinted on it. like, wahahahahaha. there was even a WHITE OWL on the back of the bus which i STARED at. they are going to entertain the birds! with their singing! wahahahahhaha. but our bus back to school had no JURONG BIRD PARK imprinted on it.. then when we reached the chool, guan ling distributed the choir tees, and we were free to go. however, me and shannon wanted to go to yoshinoya for lunch, but he wanted to buy his textbooks and all. so then i talked and talked to him, he talked and talked to me, then we said a lot of things and laughed a lot, then shannon's mother came in shannon's father-car and came towards us. then after some time they paid. and so no yoshinoya. but shannon's father gave me a lift home in their car, which i should be grateful for. then i walked to the coffeeshop and ate my lunch at 2 pm+++. but whatever. yoshinoya lunch at heartland mall can wait. doop.

okay. yesterday, readers, i received a piece of good news. i came in second in Christ The King church's feast day [art]and poetry competition. so today i went for the 9.45am mass, then after mass i went to the stage at the carpark to meet a woman called nicole. coincidence:cherie[kwek] came in SECOND too! but hers is art competition. so anyway i won a $20 voucher from the church bookshop.. i know what i want to buy already.. okay i took some pictures..

so my hard work paid off. i was actually the oldest participant. but they said YOUTHS what. ahh. anyway, went to suntec city after the whole thing. went SHOPPING at carrefour. bought many packets of HL milk. yea. then anyway, outside the cashier, i saw STARBUCKS. so i bought a teeny weeny cup of coffee frappucino ice blended

that costs.. SHOCK, SHOCK!

$4.50!!!!!! i was like, my god. that was SO EXPENSIVE! doop.[new word!] my next visit will be 20 years later.

today after choir combined rehearsal, i came home(see post below);that was my 100th post by the way.. anyway, then at 7.30pm we had to go back for the KL tour briefing.. so then because shannon asked me to call him so we could go togather, so we arranged to meet at 6.30. then when reach his house nearby.. then i saw that he was not there, so i called his house. end up he asked me to go to his house.. so that we could go together.. then later it was already 7.23 and we were still in hougang..so then in the end shannon's father had to rocket[car] me, shannon and shannon's mom to serangoon. so later when we reached st. gabs it was like, 7.35 pm already. then we chiong up to 2nd floor, me, shannon and his mom, then when we go inside, lucky haven't really start. so then, we found a place to sit.. and then the briefing started. there was one parent that came even LATER. so when it finished, me, ying yian, zai ting, shannon and his mom, walked to serangoon mrt station where we took a train back to hougang, then later ying yian and zai ting parted, so me,shannon and his mom walked home. so then later when we reached the traffic light, my mother came. so.. THE END. end of my grandmother's tale. 101th post.

TODAY is my cousin Sharon's SIXTEETH birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHARON(jie jie), HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!! wahh. so good. can watch NC16 rated movies le. but frankly i'd rather stick to PG. like Step Up. Material Girls. those are nice too. NEXT.

hello readers! i went to vivo city today. okay. this is the 8th visit. i went with my family, and we went to the Food Republic to eat. and well, i ate "mai ya tang" that was so nice. 1 dollar only. i haven't eaten it in a long time! and.. ohh ohh. i had my first chinese calligraphy at hougang cc just a few hours ago. well well. i sort of enjoyed it, i guess. but you must keep remembering to sit upright. ahh but my writing still sucks. but then anyway, the teacher is quite good. he can write so damn well! then anyway. then ink STINKS like *toot* and the brushes are nice. there's a medium one and a slightly bigger and longer one. well i've written a full piece of paper, and i must say i am improving in time. ohh well, there's choir tomorrow. so byes for now, readers!

today i went with josie to vivo city. though it was my 7th visit, i do not mind. and did we meet lots of familiar people! at 10+ am, josie's came in her uncle jason's car, and we rode to vivo city. a nice ride indeed. i love the car. it's so nice! anyway, then me and josie chiong for Golden Village. we bought two tickets for <>. it was the 11.35 am show. then we walked for a while, before i bought a <> combo, which costs $9. it consists of a popcorn, drink and a <> kiddy watch. after the movie, i still had not finished my popcorn and drink. talk about REGRET. tsk then later we went to toys-r'-us, then walk walk, blah blah, saw clarice(chng) then at about like 4 pm, we went to swensens' to eat. when we went in, the people were like STARING at us, like as though we didn't have money to eat. we did, okay. then okay, we got the menu, and i got a big damn SHOCK. a plate of FISH AND CHIPS costs $17.80!!!!! but then since there wasn't anything else to eat, me and josie took 1 each. to add on, i ordered a cup of hot chocolate that costs $4.30!!!!!!!!!! talk about EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!! wah. killed me. i wanted to order ice cream and just use my NETS card to pay, but my stomach was a little weak then, so i decided to give it a pass.wah! 1 cookies and cream ice cream sundae costs $7.80!!!!! wow. but anyway, we saw zhi yan, charlene(yeong),zhi ning and zhi hui. there. i KNEW i would meet a lot of familiar people. then after that we got a lift from josie's uncle again, and i think i slept in the car. oops. pai seh. =]

yo readers i'm now at specialists shopping centre.. yes i passed my choir audition.. yea for me.. jia you to hui xin and emily. aiyo just now i took the train to somerset mrt station from dhoby ghaut station.. aiyoyo. mistake i went right to the middle.. then end up so difficult to come out.. tsk tsk. but it isn't completely my fault. cos there was this couple that die die refuse to move. aiyo. block at the door there.. tsk tsk. so end up i push them. too bad lahhs. who ask you don't want to move. i said EXCUSE ME so many times..

tomorrow is the day the Primary 6 students graduate.. i wish i was there to say goodbye.. people if you want to say goodbye the time is now, cos the next time you may meet might be teachers' day, or maybe never anymore. if you've got things to say, say it now, if not you will regret it for life. exchange email addresses and keep in touch. forgive your enemies, do not hold anymore grudges. lastly, make good use of the last day of school.

whoo.. hello everybody.. it's so fast.. 2006 is about to come to a close.. 2005 Primary 5(s) are also going to be graduating in a few days' time.. if it was not for choir on that day, and it being the concert audition day, i would have gone back to my primary school! nonetheless, this song is dedicated to all CHIJ (OLN) 2006 graduating/2005 graduated classes. i'm sure you will find this song very familiar..

today. went for choir. many "auditions". the big one's on friday. it rained heavily. walked home.
14TH NOVEMBER 2006, TUESDAY
i went to hougang community club to pay for my chinese calligraphy fees, which will commence on 21st November 2006. i registered online on monday night.
another science tuition lesson with mr. leong. tsk. same as per normal, i would say. the same four people; malgene, douglas, clarence, si ying.
13TH NOVEMBER 2006, MONDAY





i went to vivo city on monday. ya i think it's my SIXTH visit. most of the shops are now open.. i went there because i recently won a pair of tickets to watch <> in a magazine competition. you had to make as many words out these words:

you get the picture? so anyway, me and my mother came up with i think 72 words or something like that, and, BINGO! we got the tickets. so we decided to go on monday, and because we could go to any cinema in singapore, we decided to go to vivo city. Flushed Away is a nice show, sincerely. anyone who wants/needs a little humour should watch that show. no wonder it is rated . so you can watch the show without parental guidance. then we went to take a lot of photos, the cows were displayed at the sky garden. i went for maths tuition in the evening. with a cup of bubble tea(oreo chocolate-sweet talk`kovan branch) and a food bag(carrot k8-old chang kee`heartland mall) in hand.

so i went to compass point on sunday. yea then the christmas decorations are already out! whoo it's so fast! there's still about 1 more month to go! oh well. to get into the spirit earlier, is it?

whoa. hello people. yesterday there was an "open house" for the primary six students.. yes INVERTED commas because it wasn't much of an OPEN HOUSE. let me tell you why. THERE WERE NO PEOPLE!!!yea. nobody turned up. why? cos it was a friday!!! my goodness. we actually assembled at 8.15AM.. sigh. no one come sia. it's like, the primary school students are still studying, and their parents have to work!!! goodness gracious. and it was actually scheduled for monday, yet on thursday night our choir leaders called to say it was on friday.. tsktsk. but that aside, our choir conductor bought us Cadbury Zip chocolates to"pacify" us, according to her. yea to her. that's better man. what's more, when in the afternoon we had choir practice, we used the AVA room. who knows, mr guei came in and said we messed up the chairs! miss yee was inside then. we were all like, what the *toot*.. so bo pian, go to music room lorr. lucky it was vacant cos band had left, or we would have landed up on the rooftop i think.. no good no good. tsk tsk. then anyway there was another open house today, and at least there's PEOPLE. quite a lot of people. some even from my primary school, chij oln. well i said hello to them. choir performed two times, not very good, we could do better.. oh well. we'll wait for 30th november, our choir concert day. yea i can't wait. can't wait to hear the thunderous applause from the audience. ooh. okay i've said my piece.

I went to Bishan Community Library today. Yea apparently we went to vivo city(my FIFTH time i think).. walked around.. but then it rained, quite heavily indeed, so we did not go to the sky garden.. sighhs. then later we took a train to dhoby ghaut, then changed train-north south line.. damn it there were so many people!!! then then my aunt sat on a chair with Geraldine.. then then there was this woman that was so inconsiderate, didn't want to get up, pretend pretend read her damn magazine.. don't want to get up to at least like offer my grandfather her seat.. yes grandpa came along.. i was like COMPLAINING down there, saying singaporeans are really so.. so.. ahh. then the other side there was this woman that DIE DIE REFUSE to get up.. tsk tsk. then also this little primary school girl that was writing on her whiteboard using that damn marker.. tsktsktsktsk. then i was like telling my aunt i want to emigrate to australia next time. to think i actually wrote in the newspaper summary book that time that i do not want to emigrate.. now i'm having second thoughts.. where's my passport? what's the singapore airlines website? quick quick i want to escape.. sighhs. then later we went to Junction 8 before going to the library.. whoohoo.. i've bought my 5th and 6th NEWBIE t-shirt.. yea. and my newbie membership card has NOT come yet. damn. oh and that picture of Geraldine riding that car was taken at heartland mall. we went to heartland mall to take our breakfast-cum-lunch at hougang st. 21 hawker centre. on the whole, today is again YAY-BOO. cos si ying kena bully by her 4-YEAR-OLD cousin. ahh.

whoo. i'm finally awake to come and blog. for now, i guess it's between YAY and BOO. from yesterday and today, i learnt that:

1) My aunt makes the CLUCKING sound of a chicken when gurgling her brush-teeth water.(that's new to me. i nearly laughed out loud.)
2) My grandfather hates it when his sleep gets disrupted, especially when it's hyper Geraldine creating the noise.(that isn't really surprising. i guess most elderly people want to get a good sleep.)
3) My mother can read her chinese novel up till TWO-THREE plus AM. and she's awake now. (that isn't really new to me.)
4) My father can sleep like i don't know WHAT even though the light my mother was using to read her book-the bedroom light- was so glaring.(that wasn't really new too.) he was snoring like "toot".
5) I cannot sleep when there is a sudden change of environment. I slept with Geraldine and my CLUCKING gurgling sound aunt in the computer room, the air con on. normally i sleep in my own room WITHOUT any air-con. so my aunt and i ended up talking till 2+ AM. what the "toot".
6) Geraldine should not get up roller chairs[those chairs with wheels, you know?] by herself. highly DANGEROUS. (she just fell from the chair trying to get on it, and hurt her knee a little. she's fine now, but just now she was crying. oh gosh. she already is afraid of DOGS. now it's rolly chairs. oh God. what will be next?)
7) I love my baby Piglet a LOT. as in A LOT A LOT. i kept snatching Piglet from Geraldine beacause she was PULLING ITS EARS. goodness. (that's new.)

whoo hoo. this is my cousin Geraldine. she's 4 years old this year. yes shannon she was the one i used that CHEESY voice to talk to on the phone just now.. apparently she's staying over tonight.. i don't know whether i should say YAY or BOO. i guess it's YAY for the moment. guys, wish me luck. we are going out tomorrow.. YAY or BOO??? sigh. a hyper active little kiddy i know. hmms. oh crap. she has skipped school for two days. today to wait for me, and tomorrow so we can go walk walk. crap. so. YAY.

hello readers it's time to BLOG again. today i went for all souls' day mass at novena church. oh actually i went late so i had to stand. but then anyway, i saw long-time-no-see therese jie jie.. she came for mass during her lunch hour.. then after mass we went to novena square, then therese jie jie treat gong gong(grandpa), me and mummy to japanese sushi. it was so nice! it was also the first time i ate wasabi. hahas then anyway we had this TARTUFO gelato for dessert and it was nice too. then later therese jie jie had to rush back to her office so she took a taxi, and gave us a lift. we alighted at dhoby ghaut mrt station there and said bye bye to her.. then me, gong gong and mummy took the train to harbourfront, where i went to vivo city for the FOURTH time. NICE.
