this year's national day parade has two English songs. no chinese version at all.
firstly, if there are two english songs, our choir will probably have to learn BOTH. they think we very free? and
secondly, this is the first year there are no chinese versions.
actually, thirdly, i think there should be chinese songs, not chinese VERSIONS. didn't they watch I NOT STUPID? they encourage us to speak chinese but there's no chinese version/chinese song this year.
fourthly, it isn't easy getting tickets, given the small allowance for audience this year.
fifthly, people who have successfully gotten the tickets are selling it on yahoo auctions for 400 bucks.
this young blogger is starting to get a really bad impression of 9th august.
i mean, National Day was a day to mark our nation's independence. yes, there is a need for celebration. but this is really too much. next thing we know, organisations, big and small, will be releasing products with the singapore flag and all, just to earn that extra profit.

I'm a cam-whore freak who has a standard smile for photos. Think pearly teeth, wide grin.
I love journalism and cows.
That means I love expressing myself in words and dairy products.
Purple is my favourite colour.
Which means my eyes are specially focused to notice purple. I love dark purple. Singing is my passion. Especially in the shower.
