ohhhhhhhhhhhhh gosh. the Norton Antivirus software in my computer corrupted. talk about anti virus man. it still corrupted after all. oh well. so it's back to cheng san library to do my asknlearn maths homework. oh and we recently got back a few of our results for term 3. i'm satisfied with some, but not all. here's what we've got back so far:

Chinese: 78(A1! whee.)
Literature: 76(A1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!)
Maths: 49(D7.T.T)

last term i don't do maths work and mdm hayati considers it for CA. now i do ALL my work and i still get crap-shit marks. what the hell.

and i nearly passed.*grrrrrrrrrrrr*

and the computer here takes so long to load, and the spacebar sucks. i finally learnt to cherish my own computer.

talking about cherish. one guy in our school got knocked down and run over by a bus on friday(24th August, Athenium Day-Kenneth is now CCA leader of Basketball.) he died instantly, and his wake was yesterday and today. it was a pity,they said he was a good leader. i didn't know him well, but i roughly know how he looks like.

and on thursday,i watched evan almighty because i won the preview tickets from the straits times. it a a very nice show. the movie is officially shown on 30th august.

on wednesday, the person from esplanade came. she commented that we looked quite tired. well, they still have to do a round-table discussion. we won't know so soon.

my mom suggested i changed computers, so here i am. i was getting very frustrated with the spacebar on that LOUSY keyboard. on saturday, production rehearsal was brought forward to 10 am because they later had a meeting with the altar servers. we were divided into groups of four(sherman came later), so there was me, justin faith, and faith. we had to find a passage from the bible, and act it out. inspired by evan almighty, i suggested we did the story of noah. (Genesis 6:14) so we did the story of noah. here's how the story was plotted:

Cast: Little child and disbeliever(Clara-me), Mom of little child and grandchild of Noah(Faith), Noah(Justin), voice of God(Sherman)

The story starts when Mom walks in to little child's bedroom. Little Child is getting ready for bedtime.

LC: Mom, can i have a bedtime story? Please? Please? Pretty please?
Mom: oh well, okay.
LC: YAY!!!!!!!
mom picks up the bible and turns to the story of Noah's Ark.
Mom: have you heard the story of Noah's Ark?
Little Child shakes head.
Mom begins telling the introduction of the story..

Noah comes into scene, little child and mom go out.
God talks, Noah listens. God instructs Noah to built an ark 45 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 45 feet tall(or something like that).
Noah agrees and starts gathering wood to build the ship.
Disbeliever comes in.
DB: Noah, what are you doing?
Noah: I'm building an ark.
DB: Who told you to do so?
Noah: God! God told me to build an ark because he will send a flood.
DB: And you believe him?
Noah: Yes! He is my God!
DB(totally disbelieves): Okay.. if you say so..*exits stage*

Granddaughter comes in.
GD: Grandpa! What are you building?
GP: An ark!
GD: *measures a small ark* This small?
GP: No! 45 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 45 feet high! That's 45 times your feet!
GD: Okay.. Anything i can do to help?
GP: Call the rest of our family. I'm 601 years old, building an ark here, and no one wants to help me.
Granddaughter goes off to call the rest for help.

After many days, the ark is completed. The disbeliever comes out again.
DB: Noah! I don't believe there will be a flood! You are crazy!
Just then, the flood comes. God shuts the door with his mighty powers.

DB:*looks behind* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *runs off stage*

God: After 40 days, the land was completely dry. God praises Noah for believing in him.

Little child is fast asleep. Mom closes the bible and goes out of the room.

haha, that was fun.

After that, some of us( Jared, Justin and me) went out to the coffeeshop near the church to buy some food. I nearly got knocked down by a taxi. Thanks to justin who stopped me in time.
And then there was the meeting with the altar servers, and after one and a half hours of discussion, they still decided to pull out after all. sigh.

meeting was normal, i finally got a ring file.

oh and luckily i read anne's blog, because i COMPLETELY, TOTALLY forgot the english oral exam was tomorrow. phew.

okay, today is elearning day, and as the science course is not uploaded yet, and i have finished chinese and history, i found time to sync my phone, mp3, and comp, and upload the pictures i recently took.

today we took our class photos(got a problem? DEAL WITH IT!).

school started today with an extended version of the story of the tortoise and the hare, a lesson on geese, and presentation of prizes to our C Division Boys who came in third. whoo!then first period was maths, we did a maths test which i hope i will pass. then chinese, 45 minutes of it was spent on taking our class photos, then we finished up the workbook. then it was english, we have not presented. recess i think a little too much, and i sort of made samantha lose her sweets-FAST. then art was okay, mr rizal showed us some of his pictures.

and after school, i went to singapore press holdings@ toa payoh to get my evan almighty tee and movie tickets. then i didn't want to go home, so me and my mom went to junction 8. we spent a LOT of time at bishan community library, i borrowed a lot of books again. including this thick THICK book our Minister Mentor, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, wrote. then we saw the j8 branch of slurping ape, and i bought YET another two tees. <3 slurping ape. then we went shopping a little, then saw this huge sculpture of world attractions done by biscuits, and sampled some biscuits, and bought some biscuits. all by jacob's biscuits. actually, to be exact, NTUC. then we went to mcdonald's to eat our dinner, then went home.

we took the bus 55, and because seats were limited, i sat with this guy who looked sec 3/4(he was in school uniform, long pants). then he was listening to his mp3, and SINGING along to the song. and his singing sounded like he was mumbling to himself. funny lahhs. and then i got tired, and fell asleep. i was sharply woken up when he wanted to get down the bus.

so that's about it, what a cool but tiring day.
i'm tired.

okay, so here are updates on what has happened these few days. starting with today:

11th August 2007, Saturday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOSIE!
today started with theatre of gifts practice, which for once, i was early for, but they actually started LATE. haiyo. but anyway, i notice now rehearsals are less of the fun type, and more serious pitched. then it was TOG meeting, we celebrated reggie's(belated) birthday, with this cute cute kiddy cake, and i took one of the toys from the cake and kept it. (brian took pikachu, no fair!) then we discussed several upcoming events. and then meeting dismissed.
went to AMK hub to meet my parents and eat my dinner, then we went home together.

10th August 2007, Friday
today was a school holiday, dad took leave and we went to watch harry potter and the order of the phoenix(FINALLY!). we went to golden village at marina. i think the story plot isn't quite interesting. sigh. then we went to this japanese restaurant and ate this buffet lunch. very very full after that. the cost was $58+. then dad had to go back to his office, so me and mum went shopping!

at first we saw this tee at puremilk that was super nice, something like, MEN ARE NOT WORTH YOUR TEARS, with this cute panda pic with cute blue tears. i wanted to buy it, but there was no offer, so never mind. then we went to mini toons, man. it's CORRUPTED now. there were ashtrays with sex pictures, shit pictures, everything. and mini slippers you know you can never wear, and will only collect dust. what happened to the old mini toons?

oh then we went into the slurping ape shop, and bought two tees. oh i LOVE the material. no wonder it costs so much($57+). and it was on OFFER. man. and we got a free poster from there. slurping ape poster. hee. cute.

then because at marina, if you spend $80 and above, you get this special national day07 goodie bag. let me just name some of the contents:

a bottle of newater
a kfc wet towel
a packet of green tea
a packet of chips
a packet of peanuts
a packet of tattoos(yup, the one all school students got)
many shopping vouchers(including Kiddy Palace)

yup, that's about it.
oh, then after that, we went to the game arcade. spent $4 on playing the drums. heh, i brought my own drumsticks. before me, there was this young guy with his girlfriend playing the drums, and he used the sticks provided. then i took out my sticks, act pro sia, then when he finished playing, he looked at me, and then went off. oops, i think i know what you're thinking, guy.

but hey, i'm no pro. i can only master three songs of the beginner stage. eh, give chance lahhs, i small girl only nia. and some more, i never take drum course before ah..

then later we were walking out to the mrt le(time to go home!), then we saw this bossini shop next to the hang ten shop. then my mother said that the simpsons tees(aka HUANG REN) was in hang ten. i bet with her it was in bossini. (we bet each other for an ice cream)but anyway, before that, we went up the escalator to go to Kiddy Palace, since we had a $5 voucher to use. so we saw this cute soft toy($3.90, U.P.$8.90), and bought two, one for myself, one for a surprise birthday present. and then we went down the escalator again, and TA DA! the simpsons were in bossini. i won. (:

then we walked to CityLink, where i bought this textile marker and a card, to write and attach to the present. then we walked to City Hall mrt station, to take to Raffles City station, and take 107 back home.

okay, here's what happened. the train came, and the 9-5 working people gushed out. then the train started beeping that the doors were going to close, so i followed my mom and rushed in. BUT there was this abnormal higher gap(the train carriage was higher than the station platform), so when i was rushing in, i TRIPPED, and FELL. and knocked my head against that pole. man, that hurt. but i quickly got up. jeez. i think the train driver was a little cuckoo. he was going a little too fast too.

but oh, as i hit against the side of the train(my leg went INTO the gap), so it's gonna be a white bandage for me on my leg on monday again. O.O

got home without any other injuries.
roy, i think i understand why you love sbs transit now.

9th August, Thursday
stayed home ALL day to do my maths worksheet. wow. miracle. and watched national day parade in the comfort of our living room sofa in the evening. (:

oh i keep thinking today is sunday. T.T

today was started with first friday mass! and then it was home economics practical! (CHEESY CUPCAKES YAY!) then it was music lesson, then recess! then for history we did a mindmap on chapter 6(how world war II affected singapore). i think my words were really small, hope mr er doesn't get myopic after figuring out my mindmap. even benny thought my words were small. well, i was trying to squeeze everything in.. and we were released at 12.30pm! oh, don't you just love even week friday!

and then i ate my lunch, talked to some seniors and stuff, changed to our national day RED tee, and went to the music room. me and athan were there even before ying yian. well, you can't blame her. she was released at 2. compared to people like me. happily rotting away in the canteen. (:

then we kept the chairs, and soon, people started streaming in. we practiced our national day songs countless times, and at 4 pm, we went to the hall for combined rehearsal. man, were we tired. we went from inside the hall, to outside the hall(that area), to outside the general office.. and back to the hall. and we had to wait for a LONGGGGGGG time before it was finally our turn to go upstage. and as amelia(my partner) and shannon(alvin's-1dil partner) did not come, i was shifted to the fourth row, standing next to alvin. man, in a short time i had to reverse some of the dance steps(like go left instead of right first in "will you", i have to go upstage faster than previously, i have to step out second instead of first, do freestyle action also second time not first, and continue the dancesteps in "we will get there".) all in all, confusing. just because i got moved back ONE ROW. but hey, for once i don't mind.

oh well. gotta wake up early tomorrow morning, shall go to lalaland now! bye~

oh yay! next week is a short and sweet week!

first it'll be simple studying for monday and tuesday(cos' the common tests are over! i think. let's see. english done, maths, chinese, science, history.. home ec and music no tests.. literature test over too.. YAY!)

then it'll be national day celebrations for most probably, half day only.
then NATIONAL DAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY!
then national day school holiday!

okay, let's talk about today.

today started with this guest speaker from some drama centre, talking to us about speaking good english. kinda loved his stories, he was really funny, and a good way to start the day. heh. the chicken saw the alligator and went AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

then it was time for maths, maths common test! i think i will pass, i hope. oh, don't you just love pythogoras theorem? *winks to anne.
then chinese! caili talked about gong han.. blah.
then it was english! i can tell mdm divya's bomb is going to explode soon.. today she sent joseph and roy out of the class.. sigh.
recess was okay, didn't eat much.
art was as usual, mr rizal talking about his life..
then we were released at 12.30..

ate lunch and revised science.. then at 2pm the people who missed lessons in week 3[hk tour ppl & freesia] went to 2 sin class outside retake science test. hope i pass too..

after that, i went home.
and now i'm blogging.

okay, i haven't been blogging in auite a while now.. nothing much to blog about anyway.. just school everyday.. sigh.

and to set things right, for those who just have nothing to do but rumour, i am not going steady with shannon.

jeez. today choir was quite okay. we had national day practice in the hall, then we went to the music room for more practice, singing, talking, laughing. the normal choir stuff. then today miss yee also announced the executive committe of choir for 2007/2008.
