okay, so here are updates on what has happened these few days. starting with today:
11th August 2007, SaturdayHAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOSIE!
today started with theatre of gifts practice, which for once, i was early for, but they actually started LATE. haiyo. but anyway, i notice now rehearsals are less of the fun type, and more serious pitched. then it was TOG meeting, we celebrated reggie's(belated) birthday, with this cute cute kiddy cake, and i took one of the toys from the cake and kept it. (brian took pikachu, no fair!) then we discussed several upcoming events. and then meeting dismissed.
went to AMK hub to meet my parents and eat my dinner, then we went home together.
10th August 2007, Fridaytoday was a school holiday, dad took leave and we went to watch harry potter and the order of the phoenix(FINALLY!). we went to golden village at marina. i think the story plot isn't quite interesting. sigh. then we went to this japanese restaurant and ate this buffet lunch. very very full after that. the cost was $58+. then dad had to go back to his office, so me and mum went shopping!
at first we saw this tee at puremilk that was super nice, something like, MEN ARE NOT WORTH YOUR TEARS, with this cute panda pic with cute blue tears. i wanted to buy it, but there was no offer, so never mind. then we went to mini toons, man. it's CORRUPTED now. there were ashtrays with sex pictures, shit pictures, everything. and mini slippers you know you can never wear, and will only collect dust. what happened to the old mini toons?
oh then we went into the slurping ape shop, and bought two tees. oh i LOVE the material. no wonder it costs so much($57+). and it was on OFFER. man. and we got a free poster from there. slurping ape poster. hee. cute.
then because at marina, if you spend $80 and above, you get this special national day07 goodie bag. let me just name some of the contents:
a bottle of newater
a kfc wet towel
a packet of green tea
a packet of chips
a packet of peanuts
a packet of tattoos(yup, the one all school students got)
many shopping vouchers(including Kiddy Palace)
yup, that's about it.
oh, then after that, we went to the game arcade. spent $4 on playing the drums. heh, i brought my own drumsticks. before me, there was this young guy with his girlfriend playing the drums, and he used the sticks provided. then i took out my sticks, act pro sia, then when he finished playing, he looked at me, and then went off. oops, i think i know what you're thinking, guy.
but hey, i'm no pro. i can only master three songs of the beginner stage. eh, give chance lahhs, i small girl only nia. and some more, i never take drum course before ah..
then later we were walking out to the mrt le(time to go home!), then we saw this bossini shop next to the hang ten shop. then my mother said that the simpsons tees(aka HUANG REN) was in hang ten. i bet with her it was in bossini. (we bet each other for an ice cream)but anyway, before that, we went up the escalator to go to Kiddy Palace, since we had a $5 voucher to use. so we saw this cute soft toy($3.90, U.P.$8.90), and bought two, one for myself, one for a surprise birthday present. and then we went down the escalator again, and TA DA! the simpsons were in bossini. i won. (:
then we walked to CityLink, where i bought this textile marker and a card, to write and attach to the present. then we walked to City Hall mrt station, to take to Raffles City station, and take 107 back home.
okay, here's what happened. the train came, and the 9-5 working people gushed out. then the train started beeping that the doors were going to close, so i followed my mom and rushed in. BUT there was this abnormal higher gap(the train carriage was higher than the station platform), so when i was rushing in, i TRIPPED, and FELL. and knocked my head against that pole. man, that hurt. but i quickly got up. jeez. i think the train driver was a little cuckoo. he was going a little too fast too.but oh, as i hit against the side of the train(my leg went INTO the gap), so it's gonna be a white bandage for me on my leg on monday again. O.O
got home without any other injuries.
roy, i think i understand why you love sbs transit now.
9th August, Thursdaystayed home ALL day to do my maths worksheet. wow. miracle. and watched national day parade in the comfort of our living room sofa in the evening. (:
oh i keep thinking today is sunday. T.T
