Before Christmas is even here, CHINESE NEW YEAR decorations are up for sale! like, seriously! it's not even a new year.. oh my.

on tuesday, me and my mom went to watch alvin and the chipmunks. SUPER CUTE SHOW! i want the soundtrack.

christmas.CHRISTMAS.CHRISTmas! Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ! Why are we letting these retailers have a chance to grab money out of us? People, it's time to wake up! Spending money to get logcakes and turkeys and new clothes and presents.. Did Jesus have these when he was born? At this rate, no one will ever understand the true meaning of CHRISTMAS anymore! The world will come to an end! Floods and typhoons and earthquakes and all.. What ARE we doing?

today i went to little india with my parents.. wanted to get a henna tattoo but decided not to..

went to bugis, then esplanade.. then airport..

i don't get why singers like Zhang Zhen Yue can hold a concert at the ESPLANADE, while our school musical can't? ESPLANADE, people! Can't you let us young talents have an experience of performing there? Built in Singapore, why can't it be for Singaporeans to perform? Name me events that have performed at the Esplanade Theatre:

Not that our school musical is at the concourse, that's a totally different issue. But I find it unfair!

Oh, did you know the Esplanade is leaking? Like, lots of it?

And today my family was just talking about Prima Deli and how much they've lost, and what if they've been sabotaged so that others can make more money kinda stuff. I was saying that after this, no one will there to patronise from Prima Deli. But then my dad said something which I think all of us with the SINGAPOREAN way of life should reflect on:

Prima Deli will be even safer to eat, because after all the checks, THEN the food can come out for sale. So CONFIRM+GUARANTEE there will be no more bacteria inside! So ALL THE MORE we should buy from Prima Deli after this!

And please, just solve the taxi problem. Don't you think it's stupid, increasing the prices. There will be even lesser customers now la.

Help me check for spelling errors and all, and leave a tag on your opinions on the abovementioned issues.

whee! i'm back from the walk on water combined camp, with new friendships, and stronger friendships! it's really nice, let's just see what i can remember!

we have the weirdest meals ever. from takeaway-ed pratas for breakfast, to tacos for lunch, to burgers for dinner! seriously, it can be very funny.

we have the latest bedtimes ever. like, 1 am or so we're still awake. 2 am, even. it's unbelievable a person like me who NORMALLY(today's an exception, i'm blogging) sleeps at 10+ could survive.

we had the craziest party ever last night. i got the award of youngest member, though joel is born in october. o.o
i loved the bbq marshmallows, i roasted it till it was kinda crispy on the outside, soft and warm inside. YUM.
justin got the most "sax-y" person award. it took me a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time to realise it was because of his saxophone.

i learnt how to write a play, and act parts of some Shakespeare plays, like "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Taming of a Shrew", "Romeo and Juliet" and one more which my poor brain can't remember.
I wrote a play about a love triangle, not based on a true story, but the names of the actors are real. will upload the doc sometime.
I read the lines for the three plays that i named(that's why i can remember it), but didn't act in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". "Taming of a Shrew" was really fun, I acted as Bianca, the sweet little younger sister, and the scene we did was Katharina(elder sister) abusing the younger sister and then the father comes in. Had lotsa fun in that, but it was painful to get pinched and all. oh, and my hair was messed up, like, seriously.
"Romeo and Juliet", i acted as the nurse. i remember my lines clearly.

haha. this always happens. i can remember my lines only AFTER the show is over.

on friday, it was kevin and gerri's wedding anniversary. and we were told on thursday to prepare something for them. a performance. but anyway, at first i joined one group of parables, but then on friday, i had not learnt the song that they already knew! so when i went downstairs(it's a double storey bungalow), tog was practicing, and i asked if they could join them. they said it was a good idea too, because no one was partnering justin. so i went up and told parables that i would join tog. win-win situation, don't you think? so then anyway tog danced along to "my heart will go on" from titanic. i realised i don't know how to waltz. luckily i had help from justin. but anyway, it was a nice night.

on sunday, the second last day, we played "amazing race". so with annabel, dora and angela from parables, and me and justin from tog, we were a group. and we had lotsa fun. i must admit i didn't contribute much. >.<

on.. saturday, i think. we played captain's ball. and once the game started, i caught the ball, passed it to someone from my team, and we scored a point. but the thing is, the other two times i got the ball, i passed it to the wrong team. once, they didn't score. but the second time, they got the point. i'm a real blurblock, eh?

on 1/12/2007, it was the CRAZY CATHOLICS youth conference at church of st. anthony, and i took this with my handphone camera.

30/11/2007 was the day we had our sec 4's graduation party, and after that me, athan and shannon went to vivo to watch enchanted. a little too late though, we managed to get seats but we sat apart. shannon was a row in front of me, at one corner, and athan was at the other corner, also a row in front of me. so it was roughly like this:

the four X(s)? EMPTY SEATS. not sure if it was fated or what. but like halfway through the show, the seats were still empty. so i called shannon over, and later shannon went to call athan over. COOL, right? i still don't understand why there were four empty seats.

got the strawberry cheesecake ice cream from the popcorn combo. eh, shannon took it though. :x

6/12 after the workshop, me and mum went to plaza sing. AMAZINGLY, starbucks was giving free coffees! so i ordered two mocha fraps. hee.

8/12 after our musical performance, our family went to haagen dazs. lovely chocolate fondue. sinful though.

so anyway.
throughout these few weeks:
-i danced to a hi-5 song. (L-O-V-E) for graduation party.
-i learnt more singing techniques!
-i realised i don't have two left feet!
-i think rumours are spreading.

yeah i guess that's all. i got a brainfreeze.
