teehee, i'm blogging from the cheng san community library comp cos i'm too lazy to use the one at home.

which, the name of cheng san community library, has been changed to cheng san public library.
which seems to be the case for most libraries islandwide.
don't they foresee the mistake of spelling "public" as "pubic"?

oh, speaking of which, i realised that if you are reading a book but it's close to the due date, you should overdue it, if you are confident that you can return it ten days after the due date.

mean of me to say this, but it's true.

look, renewal of books are just so NOT worth it. it's like, $1.50.
and one day of overdue book is 15 cents per day.
so if you do your simple mathematical calculations, you should just let the book go overdue.
besides, it's not worth the risk and time to return and wait for your book to be shelved out again.
especially if it's a hot book, and pesky librarians, or volunteers(like i used to be) will get the book before it even gets shelved.

get my point?

anyway, i was reading through my posts in the past, and i realised

1) november 28 this year, i think, marks the second year since i've used this url for my blog.
2) my ipod is one year old this year. it was bought on 2 sept 2007, which coincidentally, is shirlene's birthday.

today, school was okay. we got back some test marks.
i got 26/30 for my poa test.
and 34/40 for my chinese section B test.
which gives me a total of 56/70 for my term 4 chinese test.
which is amazing, considering our teacher gave us the 'O' level chinese paper for 2008.

today, there was no choir. we stepped down from cca earlier.
i felt free, for once in a long time.

i slacked away my whole day, mostly doing this blogskin. actually, what i did was combine two blogskins. and ta-da!

exams are up in 7 days, and i feel like i haven't studied enough. shit, i should have used today.

i knew i shouldn't have come online.

oh well, at least i got a nice blogskin.
