The simplicity in those words, the sweet innocence of a child; words from my six-year-old cousin, that struck a few chords and brought warmth to my heart.
She may irritate me sometimes, but purely because she imitates the actions of this elder "sister".
And I wonder, why are we not able to speak such kind words to each other?
How many friends of ours are really true friends? Friends who will always be there for us, to lend a listening ear, who will always listen to our troubles when we are down? Many of us have superficial friends; friends who will forget you after going separate ways, friends who just don't bother about you, "friends" who make use of you.
We were all born babies. What was it that made us so... fake?
Probably it is the competition to fight the demand of society, that we try to outdo each other. Nasty feelings are shown and we don't bother about the opponent. We just want to win.
Back to the topic on friends. I admit I don't have many true friends. At least, I have found Gideon and Louis, who have encouraged me when I was down, whom I can talk to about anything and everything. It is friends like these who make life really enjoyable. For that, thank you.
Then again, how great a friend to people have I been? Not very much, I would say. I admit I am self-centered and unwilling to share. But we all have our little imperfections. So why must people have huge mouthfuls of judgments to spit at each other?
And why is it so hard to show our true feelings? We have to hide and cover, afraid to let people know our true self.
Lastly, God created a man and a woman. But why is it that some people remain single and lonely for life?

I'm a cam-whore freak who has a standard smile for photos. Think pearly teeth, wide grin.
I love journalism and cows.
That means I love expressing myself in words and dairy products.
Purple is my favourite colour.
Which means my eyes are specially focused to notice purple. I love dark purple. Singing is my passion. Especially in the shower.
People say I have a lame sense of humour.
But I still like making people laugh.
I can be random at times.
For example, I can't draw for nuts. I laugh at anything and everything.
