Sigh, I wonder if going out later is safe.

Anyway, yesterday I went to the Pet Lover's Centre opposite my house. Bought a two-storey cage, (which comes with a water bottle and wheel), bedding, its food, a box for bathing sand and bathing sand too. Yeah, hamsters can bathe themselves. How cool is that.
Total cost: $56. Not cool at all.

But I couldn't tolerate the sight of the poor hamster getting attacked by ants and flies in that small cage. And so the trip to PLC was necessary.

Going out to get Serene's letter of recommendation from someone called Kam Hoe. Also need to get Yen's letter signed. Hmmm.

Just came back from SPH, got Serene's letter. It's super awesome.

Below is what she wrote:

It is in my capacity as her editor that I have known Siying.

She has been an active member of The Straits Times Media Club's students council (called the "IN Crowd") over the past two years, and during her time, has been consistent, competent and responsible. She was an active participant during The Straits Times Media Club Camp last December. In 2008, she also went to Kuala Lumpur as part of the newspaper's annual study trip to visit newsrooms around the world.

She was appointed the council's president this year, a job that she has unstintingly performed despite it being her O Levels year. She has been prompt in meeting the rigorous deadlines of a newspaper, and reliable with her submissions, demonstrating to me that she is both a committed and passionate individual. She is already well on her way to her future aims - that of becoming a journalist and to mentor those younger than her - not least because she has a deep empathy for readers, and wanting to serve them.

Siying has made a deep impression on her council members and myself because of her proactive, go-getting attitude towards work. There is impressive maturity about her approach to work, and she is a natural newshound. She is also diligent, and has quickly picked up key journalistic fundamentals in the short time she has worked with the team.

Her story ideas have even appeared in The Straits Times broadsheet, where she worked closely with full-time journalists to interview her peers for a story about how teens were making money at school by selling fiction books to their peers.

I have every confidence that Siying will have no problems accomplishing her goals to study mass communications and go on to become a strong journalist. She not only has commitment, but the will to achieve.

Transformers was awesome.

Today, for once I wasn't almost-late for june prog.
In fact I was early.
Chinese was totally boring.

And athan's next to me right now.
Reading what I type.
LOL.

Went to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen today.
Met Athan at Hougang Plaza bus stop, then took 74 to AMK Hub.
We saw Brian Bong at AMK Hub too. lol.

Transformers is just so nice.
The effects were super cool.
And the theatre was super packed.

After the movie,
we went to macs.
Then Athan came over to my house cos he needed to do his blog.
And he's still here. @@
We did like, his blog skin, music codes, tagboard, blah.

Today, serene brought the hamster that I was getting from her. it's a really cute white hamster, and sarah and i have named her Cotton Candy. because she is
white like cotton wool,
and sweet-looking like candy.
ironically, cotton candy aka candy floss is coloured.
but still.

and now CC's sleeping in her box, and she looks so cuteeeeeeee! :D

So..
Saturday
I met Athan at Hg inter like, half an hour late, cos I overslept.. =/
Then we took 72 to Tampines interchange,
walked to Tampines One aka tampon.. LOL.

First stop at the korea shop to buy my can of Milkis..
Then we walked around the area,
with him still finding his Star Trek stuff despite having just bought an Enterprise spaceship on Friday..
Visited the arcade, spent some money there..
I lost most of my air hockey games yesterday.. LOL.

Then we went to Tampines Mall,
played more games at the arcade.
Time Crisis 4 was fun, but my aiming sucked.
Lost to him in Daytona cos I went into the wrong lane, the pit stop lane. =.=
Went for lunch, and wanted to watch a movie but the show timings weren't good..
And so we walked around, trying to find a wallet I could buy, but to no avail. (sigh)

Then we went back to Tampines 1,
after which we took 72 back to Hougang.
Injured my toe, and ended up spending $0.20 on a plaster that wouldn't stick.
Pffft. My poor big toe was bleeding a little, and super throbbing.
Athan was laughing at me, he said I was still smiling when I was in pain. =.=

Sort of limped to Hougang Mall,
played some games at the arcade.
Again, air hockey was a chain defeat for me. Lol.
We played drums, the sound system and drum pads at Hg Mall Timezone is super good.
One stick each at first for the three stages, then after that,
Athan decided to try solo.
He did "Innocent World" quite okay,
then I tried the same song for second stage, not too bad.
Then I think we did "Russian Roulette" together for the thrid stage.

Athan then went to play the Ghost Squad game.
It. was. super. awesome.
We played Pinball too,
I took the Formula 1 machine, while Athan took Lord of the Rings. LOL.
Then we had some money left,
Athan tried to catch a soft toy for me,
but couldn't.
We were both standing in front of the toy catcher machine,
then he was like,
"I catch for you, want?"
Then I thought he meant he was going to shake the machine until it fell out, like Friday. =.=
But nah, he didn't manage to catch it.
Haha, friday's Minnie Mouse was good enough already lah.

After that, I had to go over to my ah ma's house,
because it was the day that my ah ma's spirit was said to be brought back by the guards.
We walked until the POSB bank there, then Athan went back to the mrt station to go home.
So I met up with my parents, ate a little for dinner.

We were all inside the room, waiting for her to come between 9pm-midnight.
So we played card and board games, while some played mahjong.
After midnight, we went out to observe the food and uncooked rice we left for our ah ma.
The pot of uncooked rice, indeed, had small lines that looked like a handprint. Whoa.
We then went to observe the food we left, and I think my ah ma ate a little.

SUNDAY
At around 6 am, we went to the coffeeshop opposite for breakfast.
Then we went home.
I decided not to go for CC3 Camp Facils meeting, cos I was too tired.
And I realised that Youth Mass clashed with a class that I had,
so I had to pull out suddenly, hence I did not go for rehearsal today.

Yesterday
I met Athan at AMK Hub at around 12.30.
He was like, half an hour late? =.=
Then we took the train to City Hall,
shopped around Citylink, looked at CDs at HMV..
After that,
we walked to Esplanade.

Looked around the movie memorabilia shop,
then we walked to Marina Square.
After looking at all the hobby shops there,
we went for a "pit stop", or so he calls it
at Burger King.
After which, we headed for Millenia Walk,
looked at shops selling aircrafts, model cars..
Model cars, me like. [:

Then we walked the underpass to go to Suntec City,
play arcade.
I won him 7-4 for air hockey,
and 3-2 for table soccer.
Then we went to Toys R Us, then decided to go to Plaza Singapura.

Took 36 to P.S., then went to look at more toys.
Then went for dinner, and back to 7th floor.
He decided to buy a Star Trek Enterprise spaceship.
That cost like, $29.90. @@

Then we went to the arcade!
We played table soccer again,
I won him 4-1.
Then we went to play drums,
one stick each. LOL.
Play easy mode, cos we both noobs. =X
He played crash cymbal and low tom tom,
I played bass, high tom tom, snare drum and hi hat.
LOL.
Then we played table soccer again,
this time i won him 3-2.
Close shave wor.

After that, we went home.
Super tired!
We went to like, six places in one day?

Today
Bong and Mczie arrived at AMK Hub at around 10.30?
Then I went over around 11+, and Athan arrived a little later.
Bought tickets for Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past,
then went for lunch.
After that, went to NTUC because Bong wanted to buy sweets for the movie later.
Before the movie, we went to the arcade,
Bong wanted the Stitch from the same machine that I got the Tigger's tail.
So I was deliberating which one to catch.

Then hor, Athan shake shake shake the machine,
don't know what he doing.
I was looking straight at the Stitches, considering which one to catch.
Then I saw something drop from the middle into the prize hole below.
Look down and see, is the Minnie Mouse on display in the centre drop down.
So I was like, OMG.
Then bend down, quickly pick up, and run away. HAHA.
Actually, that Minnie is cannot catch one lorh.
Give Bong, he ask if should return.
So I take lorh.
Lol, Athan is powerduhful.
Then after that, we play air hockey. HAHA.
Won 3-2.

After the movie, we played Daytona.
Bong came in first,
I was second,
McZie was third
and Athan came in last cos he used Manual while the rest of us used Auto. HAHA.

Then we played drums,
one stick each again.
First song was with Athan,
then Bong wanted to try.
After that, Athan and I wanted to try the Standard mode.
We, embarrassingly, didn't even make it past the first song. =X
Like that waste one dollar. Hais.

Then we went to Macs for dinner,
and then to the arcade upstairs.
We played a game of air hockey,
I won 7-5.
Then McZie and Bong went home,
Athan wanted to get another packet of Medium fries, while i got myself a Hot Fudge Sundae.
We then walked over to my house, cos my parents weren't at home.
I showed him around the house, and then we used the comp for about two hours?
So Louis and Bong, you know who spammed your Facebook and blog respectively. [:

After that, I walked him back to AMK Hub to take bus,
then I walked back home.

Hmmm. I really had fun.
But I wonder if he let me win for the table soccer and air hockey games.
I don't think I was really that good.
Hmmmm.

Hello everyone.

So, I'm back from a rather long break, so long that I feel disconnected from civilisation. =.=
For those whom are closer to me will know, my grandma passed away on 11 June 2009.
And so for the past few days, we've been buzzing around for the funeral.
Thanks Shannon for taking the time to come.

At least, I feel more bonded with my cousins, whom I hardly see.
And I think it's better to see my grandma pass away peacefully, than see her suffering with all the tubes poked everywhere..
She was also struggling hard to breathe..

Well, though I'm not THAT close to my Ah ma, I will still miss her loads..

CC3 Camp is less than one month away and I am so nervous!
Will I be a good facilitator, or will I screw up?
It's scary, now that I'm the one who serves, not the one to be served.
Will I be able to inspire, bringing the teens closer to God?

Youth Mass is end of the month, I like being a backup singer.
It's a safe place to be, because no one will hear you if you sing wrongly. =/
I hope this one's better than the previous one.
Hmm. I considered re-joining Theatre of Gifts,
but decided this is not the time.
And besides, I think I'll join Junior Catechists instead.
Interacting with teens can be an awesome experience.

My June hols are amazingly empty.
Need to get started on homework, then playyyyyyyyyy.

I'm so excited! :D

Today,
Shirlene, Jasmine, Zhiqi, Huiquan and I went to Wild Wild Wet to celebrate the big guy's birdday.

Sarah wanted to come too, but couldn't because of her knee. ):

We met at hg inter at like, super #$#^%$^#%$ early in the morning, and spongebob was late.
Then we set off for www, which was a totally long journey.
After reaching, we went to macs to dapao the $2.50 meal cos no seats. Eat finish le, go buy tickets.
Union member now can buy tickets for $10.80.
But leh, they say Union card holder must be present= Zhiqi's mom's card comes to no use.
So bopian, to save money, I approached some random uncle.
Heng he got Union card.
But he looked really scary and impatient, cos he was rushing off for work.
Hope he didn't end up late.

And the queue was so freaking long and slow, got one group of girls can go no queue de place buy public rate, still want to squeeze for Union cardmember queue. -.-
Then at the queue, one aunty gave me a free ticket. Cool siah.
Then because the uncle bought a few tickets already, can only buy two. So in the end, zhiqi and jasmine had to buy tix at public rate. =.=

Then after that we went in,
play children's slide. -.-
Then we go Ular-lah.
At first quite scared, but heng never fall out of the float or anything. If not I would have freaked out.
Then we went to Shiok River, big guy keep making a fool of himself.
Then we went to Tsunami, then to Jacuzzi..
Then back to children's slide,
then to Ular-lah,
then finally, Shiok River.
I used so many thens.

After that,
they wanted to watch Drag Me to Hell.
But E Hub the cinema not showing,
so we went for lunch,
and then to the arcade!

I wanted to play drums, but the version is different from what I usually play.
Then I saw this young guy with a little boy playing this "catch keychain" game.
Just kaypoh look, who knows he got the keychain siah!
So siying being siying, I go try too.
End up, because the thing too far behind (it was the last one on that hook), the catcher can't even move in and grab.

And then, Jasmine noticed it was hooked inside. So no matter how you try to grab, it will not come out, because of the hook.
So then I went to call the Zone X person. Tell him not fair, because push too behind can't grab, and also stuck by the hook. And I also say because I don't know, shouldn't I get one free play back.
After all that was settled, I play again using the free play. This time, I got the thingy.
It's a cute Tigger's tail. Haha.

Then after that,
Huiquan wanted to play Daytona. So I also went to play.
We played against like, three other people.
So in total, we had five people.
Amazingly, and I don't know how,
I came in first.
Wonderful.

Then we played air hockey,
I lost to him 2-3 and draw 2-2.
He didn't realise his goal area had a hole, so maybe that's why I kept scoring.
But it's still good workout.

Damn, I wanna play air hockey with Athan. Haven't played with him in a longgggggg time.
I don't even know if we're going out this Saturday. Later his family spring something on him again.
